Background
Baraka Farms manages 1,200 hectares of farmland growing sesame and dry beans. It also coordinates a network of 300+ outgrowers through seasonal input and off-take agreements. While the farm consistently met quality and volume targets, it was forced to sell to regional aggregators or local brokers who offered low prices, late payments, and no contract guarantees. The team had no internal export sales function and lacked the tools to access serious buyers directly.
